If elected, Henry Pike MP and a Dutton Coalition Government will invest $2.5 million towards the Stage 1 development of the Russell Island Bowls Club.
Labor’s decision to make Russell ineligible for regional funding grants meant this project was under threat.
Thanks to the Coalition, the newly renovated Bowls Club will serve as a community hub that will host social and cultural events for all island residents and visitors.
