As Tropical Cyclone Alfred hit our city, too many Redlanders lost access to reliable mobile reception.
At a time when they needed it the most, our city's telecommunications system let us down.
We need to ensure our telecommunications network is capable for everyday use, as well as being prepared for the next potential disaster. We must strengthen our mobile network.
I will use this data to work with our telecommunications service providers to determine what needs to be done to fortify our mobile network.
This will ensure the Redlands are ready for whatever may come in the future.
